Welcome to the Sonoma Suites located at 2911 16th Street in one of the most exciting new neighborhoods of the city. The Mission District has recently been termed the Greenwich Village of San Francisco. Nestled in the heart of the Mission District, we are close to Dolores Park and surrounded by many popular restaurants, bookstores, cafes, bars, art galleries and local shops. We are located just one block from the 16th Street BART train station which makes transportation easy.
Our remodeled Victorian building has 3 floors and 36 furnished month-to-month apartments. The building has mostly studios and a couple of one bedrooms. There are two restaurants and a bike shop on the first floor. There is a small neighborhood theater across the street and also a parking lot that offers monthly parking. All of our apartments were remodeled at the same time with new wood floors, new kitchens and new bathrooms. There is a laundry room, elevator, mail delivery and manager on-site.
Our apartments have classic San Francisco charm with vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, crown molding and breakfast islands. The furniture has been handpicked in dark woods with antique accents. Each unit comes fully equipped with a full size bed, table and chairs, TV/DVD player, dishes, towels, linens and internet access so all you need to bring is your suitcase. We are happy to provide clean and comfortable apartments in one of San Francisco’s favorite neighborhoods!
